I've been wondering, so I decided to share this with you guys. my thoughts goes thus: Firstly, I need to change my phone and I've been considering gionee but most of their phones i can afford packs 1gb of ram. 1gb of ram is okay but I've handled phones though not mine with 1gb of ram and damn it the ram wasn't enough. we all know gionee is a trusted brand when it comes to quality and all but on the other hand, their specs are not as mouth watering as jiayus. Gionee I think is more international i guess judging from the fact that they've got a space on gsmarena and jiayu on the other hand doesn't. please for those who've used either of the phones please come in and share your thoughts, experiences and opinions let others learn and let me make a good choice because lately, I don't care about brand name but specs but there's this little voice in my head that still hasn't approved of jiayu. Please let's enlighten ourselves, no arguments and finally, if u know u re a rich kid using Samsung,LG,HTC,Sony etc , please don't use abusive words here because tastes are different |

I have used both and currently using Jiayu. My guy, both brands are good. Both brand got cons too though in terms of camera, Gionee beats. It is your budget that speaks, not the brand. So the question is..... Na how much you get? |

Mafia4life:Which of the Jiayus did you use cos i'm surprised with your point that gionee's camera is better. In my own opinion, the camera of all the jiayu phones I've used were all okay. Gionee p2's camera is also not superb(although I'm not saying all gionees camera are wack). On a final note, from my own experience, both brands produce good and strong phones. It all boils down to an individual's neees and budget |

I've haven't used any gionee product yet but i'm currently using a jiayu g4a and i can say for an mtk device its superb. The only downside so far is that therris no customer care support here in nigeria. Would have posted screenshots but i've already flashed a new rom on it. (miui) Btw i got it from the able initialize. (My personal customer care) |

@Op Go for jiayu Gionee I have swear not to buy their phone again. Gionee lack competition to other Chinese brand. But if you ask me, go for any Xiaomi phone (World no 3 phone maker) Contact initialize for price list. 2 Likes 1 Share |

epoxide: Just trying to give my G4S some credit. Jiayu official ROM mess with the camera stability, changing to Miui or Chilapos ROM will improve the quality of the pictures taken with the camera. All pictures in my sales thread were taking with my G4S 13mp back camera including the attached pix
