I am here to seek advice from good nigerians on the above mentioned topic. I am interested in buying a car(faily used) and some advised me to check on olx, that i can get a good one there. Having gone through the site i have seen the type i want but the price is rediculous (low). I dont want to fall into the hands of 419ners. I dont know how genuine this is but i need advice from anyone that has done this before on how i can go about it. The location of the car i saw is in sokoto. Thanks for your meaningful contriutions.

. my brother,I'll advice u to carry your money and run away and don't ever look back,infact,don't you dear or ever visit Oxl or Tradestable for anything serious, they are homes of fraudsters and con-people. Be warned! For cars,I'll suggest you visit Checki.com. Good luck!

Not all deals on OLX are bad.
Go for car inspection in a public place,check the papers and if it checks out go to your bank branch with the seller and do a bank wire transfer to his account.
Make sure to have a receipt and original papers in hand before wire is made and always advisable to go for inspection/payment in twos.
