Can't get to unlock this Airtel
Huawei modem, model E173u-2 ..
The unlock count is 10 out of 10 by
default. I tried resetting it by
inputting the hash reset algorithm
code in DC unlock tool, but that
failed. I used Huawei modem
unlocker v.5.8.1 which was
supposed to automatically reset
and unlock the modem after I
followed the steps correctly, but
that failed as well..
Finally I tried updating the
firmware to see if that would reset
the modem, but unfortunately the
operation fails during the update,
or the data cards won't be
recognized.
please I need help on this urgently. :-(
