04 SUBARU OUTBACK WAG AWD V6 - $750 - (N124,000)

Fixing it on the cheap is out of the question but removing the engine, transmission and AWD drivetrain an transplanting into another vehicle? Only 123kmi.

1997 mercedes s420 - $500 - (N87,500)

Fixing it on the cheap is out of the question but removing the engine, transmission and transplanting into another vehicle? Only 90kmi.

Would like to hear from non posers but real autoist who routinely gets their hands dirty.

Don't forget all the other bits like cluster, glass, panels, seats, etc, etc

Just food for thoughts.

I've been having dirty thoughts about removing the Subaru shell and placing an old VW Beetle body on top of it.

The resulting melee should scare a few STi owners in the short term.

Yes non turbo flat six, its actually a very compact engine once you remove all the modern bits.

Doesn't really look too bad but every time I'm driving at high speeds taking a left hand curve I'll always remember shocked grin

But it's fixable.
