It seems Stephen Keshi is scheduled to return as Eagles Coach. Though the exact details are not clear as at this moment, a tweet from the Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye went thus “@ToyinIbitoye: Keshi Returns as @NGSuperEagles Coach.” With some heavy horse trading going on at the moment concerning the crisis at the NFF, it is possible this may be one of the chips in the deals taking place. Only a myopic football Federation would sack their head coach in the wake of an important qualifying matches. If you must sack, why not wait till the end of the qualifiers  You expect a coach that has been away from football coaching to perform a miracle. Even Shuaibu Amadu was dumb founded on hearing the news of his replacement with Keshi. |
