Head coach of Ghana’s national U23 team Malik Jabir has released a list of 18 players for the international friendly with Nigeria fixed for Friday November 7 to commission the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo.

The 18-man Black Meteors team are Richard Ofori, Eric Ofori Antwi, Emmanuel Nti Mensah, Benjamin Agyari, Lawrence Tetteh , Vincent Attinga Richard Yamoah, Kojo Poku, Kennedy Ashia.

Others are David Osei Opoku, Isaac Oppong Osae, Abedel Latif Amadu, Enoch Kumi Frimpong, Samuel Afful, Noah Martey, Abdul Ganiyu Ismael and Elvis Opoku.

The game will attract the presence of Nigeria’s President Goodluck Jonathan and international football icons including Brazil’s Pele at the grand opening of the stadium.

Fifa and Caf official Paul Bassey will be the match commissioner for Friday’s game. Ghana are expected in the country on Wednesday, November 5.
