So, idris elba is ghanaian on his mother's side and sierra leone on his dad's. Why was he featured on the thread? Not sure what I'm missing here. If he's a role model, then state why you consider him one ( IF YOU ARE MALE). I said this in the opening post . The thread is not for spamming with abs or hotness plz, there are separate topics for those. Not saying a physical fitness model can't be your role mentor, just that I don't want the thread spammed with photos of abs unless the picture is accompanied by a reasonable post without rancour. |

What I mean by "happily" sounding child-ish, is not that happiness is foreign to marriage, but rather, for a man, marriage, whether "happily" or not, is not the sum total of their worldview like it is for most women. If happiness is what you're looking for, then you might as well get the feeling from beer since the high is at least guaranteed. This happiness misconception on the part of women is also why in the event of a break up, the man tends to move on quickly while the woman does not. |

It's also meant to create some sort of balance to all the horror stories about marriages from hell - and show that it isn't all doom and gloom. So how could the thread starter be scheming something. EfemenaXY: Just my opinion. Anyway, also in my opinion, "happily married" sounds like something you see on those nigerian bios mostly of a political nature or some money related venture where the cv is polished and "happily married" thrown in for good measure even though in real life the wife or wives in the marriage are probably doing prayer and fasting 24/7 as well as visiting various "african power" specialists all in a bid to curtail the man's numerous mistresses/side chicks and wandering blockis. With the mistresses and side chicks also doing the same. Yet the public pictures will show the man with a beatific smile and "happily married" glued to his profile. 3 Likes |
