How do I center my blog

I don't seem to be able to pin point the particular line of code that override this. I'm trying to customize a ready-made template

look for something like wrapper or container in ur css file and apply this style to it:
#wrapper {
margin: 0 auto;
}
If you can't find wrapper or container, paste sure link so I can look for you, it might be named something else.

add values to the margin-left on the css position .

There are like 3 different instances for the wrapper syntax and I have changed them but no effect.

Check your CSS. Check the width property of the containing block: it may be in pixel value. Change it to percentage value if that's the case. Set it to 100%. And set margin to 0 auto as maekhel has said.
