The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Apple’s iOS platform recently started to make waves in the enterprise space, and some analysts suggested it could mean curtains for BlackBerry. Of course, BlackBerry shares are up more than 75% over the past 12 months, so the company isn’t quite down for the count despite its diminished market share. And now, BlackBerry has joined forces with Apple’s archrival in an effort to combat Apple as it turns up the heat in the mobile enterprise market. BlackBerry on Thursday unveiled BlackBerry Enterprise Service 12 (BES12), its next-generation enterprise platform that allows IT professionals to deploy and manage mobile devices. At the same time, BlackBerry also announced that it will partner with Samsung, and the two companies will sell each other’s mobile security solutions. According to The Wall Street Journal, the deal will give BlackBerry access to a larger customer base while Samsung will benefit from BlackBerry’s strong reputation with mobile security. The deal will also see several key BlackBerry security features added to Samsung’s Android software. Apple recently announced a major partnership with IBM as it continues its enterprise push, but BlackBerry and Samsung clearly has no plans to let Apple swoop in without a fight.

There's a line in the above article;
"the deal will give BlackBerry access to a larger customer base while Samsung will benefit from BlackBerry’s strong reputation with mobile security."

When u partner with someone ,the Question is: What are they bringing to the table?
