Every year hundreds if not thousands of engineers are graduating and electrical engineers have a large portion of these students and that makes me wonder what their job is, knowing that we have thousands of electricians at every nook and cranny of nigeria. An electrical engineer who has a phobia for electric current will always claim their work is not to fix cables and wires and i wonder what is their reason for studing the course?

Basicaly Carrying out feasibility studies for new technical innovations
Drawing up plans using computer-assisted engineering and design software
Estimating material, construction, and labour costs, and project timescales
Coordinating technicians and craftspeople
Testing installations and systems, and analysing data
Making sure projects meet electrical and construction safety regulations
Overseeing inspection and maintenance programmes
Attending meetings, writing reports and giving presentations to managers and clients
