When a marriage lacks strong convictions it will always end in stronger confusion.

I see so many chaotic homes today because the couples have no solid reasons for marrying their partners.

If your attraction to your partner is not base on what is within, external pressures will always define your love for your partner.

When you look at your partner, what do you see,the physical body or the virtues?

When couples hate each other beyond the normal frequency(i.e in moment of anger or quarrel which shouldn't last at most a week),it calls for serious retrospect of why the marriage was contracted in the first instance.

Constant frustration in marriage that leads to emotional turmoil is a reflection of a subtle deceit in one or two of the partners.

Marriage is base on love strenghten by values and respect for the other entity.True marital relationship has nothing to do with physical acquisitions. It has to do with divine acquisition.I'm talking from my personal experience.

The first 10 years of my marriage was really horrible. It was the one of hardship, suffering, poverty, ridicules etc.To give you a little scope of what I mean,we slept on cement sewn bags when we got married with wrappers as our pillows.

In all those years, our relationship was awesome.Yes we quarreled but not like the ones we see today. In those years we squatted with my late mum for almost 3 years in a room and parlour self-contain and she never saw us quarrel.I mean this with all sense of honesty. Our main quarrels started three years ago when I started seeing little money but didn't last long before the power of love and convictions swallowed such up.We still quarrel once in a while but it doesn't last hours before it becomes history.

When your convictions for marrying your spouse is not divinely inspired for believers or nature inspired for others it will always have serious problems and might end in divorce.

There are two types of divorce I researched upon and they are real. They are:

1.PHYSICAL DIVORCE:This is when the marriage folds up and each partner finds their "square roots".This is more common with the whites and it is making serious inroads into Africa.

2.MIND DIVORCE:This is the worst form of divorce. This is when couples still stay together even though they have lost love and respect for each other. All activities have become mechanical. There is no more passion for each other.

Such have become strangers living under the same roof. They know the marriage has been buried but they don't want the world to know and see the coffin. They are just saving faces and putting on cosmetic smiles for people not to suspect anything.

They are no longer sleeping on the same bed if they have extra rooms in their home.If peradventure they are,one is facing east and the other west. They might sometimes have intimacy, but it's just to release the drive in them.

This kind of divorce is common among believers and especially ministers. While the men are the major culprits in this the women have their own shares also.

Such men go out to find the love(lust) they've lost in their marriages. It's a common thing for Christians and sorrowfully enough for ministers to have external wives and concubines nowadays.

The major dilemma here is there was no foundation in the marriage from the onset. How you enter a marriage will determine how you navigate through it.

There are many who shouldn't have married themselves today. There are many whose marriages will still go down the drain.I can boldly tell you as an authority in spiritual issues that over 70% of marriages have no divine backings.God is not involved and what God has not joined together can be put asunder by anything.

For believers who are in this category contemplating of going for the physical divorce, you can't except on Biblical reasons of which some are,

1.Habitual unrepentant adultery.

2.Your relationship with God is heavily threatened.

3.Death of your partner.

4.When your life is in serious danger

Outside this, anyone that divorces will land in hell. For those who have this kind of divorce, you can always seek the face of God for divine intervention and restoration. That first love you had may be base on the physical but the Holy Ghost can help you to convert it to the spiritual and change your mindset totally.

With God all things are possible.Hand over your marriage and yourselves to God.Let Him turn your marriage around with His creative power of love.

You must love your spouse unconditionally as Jesus loves you even with your weaknesses.Forgive your spouse and let go of the past hurts.Focus on the future and what you can achieve together with your spouse.Become the love-doves you were before.Help your partner to overcome the weaknesses and celebrate him.

Marriage is not a contract but a covenant thing and has no expiring date.Marriage is only here on earth and it's one of the criteria that will really determine if you would even make heaven.God help us all.
