I did not get an answer from you. Are we meeting this Christmas? I hear there is a carnival in Calabar featuring Akon and some other reggae people. Make we block for Calabar, or at least me fit drink Palm-Wine for Itu or any spot for Uyo!

LOL Old glory,

I told you on another thread that I wasn't too sure about this year or next. The calabar carnival thingy is actually very cool. I attended them from 2000 - 2004. From phone calls to calabar last xmas, I was told that that one was the best. I guess Duke aims to impress.

I don't want to visit naija until after elections in 2007. So 2006, not so sure, but 2007, very sure. Either way, send me email to itoro@bellsouth.net so I can have your email on file. If we no JAMB for 2006, we go definitely WAEC (sorry guys, but I just had to say that grin) for 2007 lol.

u dey go akwa ibom convention this weekend?

soulpatrol:

what accents? u mean "K L-u M-u N-u" instead of "KLMN"? or "Shooshi" instead of "church" or "elp/ouse" instead of "help/house"? how about "I tell am pa you" as opposed to "I tell am for you"?

which one? cos I wasn't aware "calabar" had accent grin

careful now, u r treading on very turbulent waters. I am not the typical "calabar (I am from Akwa Ibom State, but I digress)" man. I am equipped with nuclear warheads and I use them, unlike Israel at the slightest provocation LOL

I intend to make it down to calabar this December for the carnival and the concerts! I'll appreciate if i can get tips on how to get a good hotel accommodation and how much it will cost. Will also like to know what spots will be cool to hang out and those that I MUST avoid.
