Polls upon polls, studies upon studies and facts upon facts shows that Christians are the most persecuted religious group in the world today. Christianity is facing elimination in its Biblical homeland. Between a half and two-thirds of Christians in the Middle East have departed or been killed over the past century. Short attributes the intolerance and violence towards Christians to the rising Islamicization of Middle Eastern countries.
