Ph. 2:3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
Ph. 2:4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
Ph. 2:5 Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Ph. 2:6 Who, being in very nature [Or in the form of] God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
Ph. 2:7 but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
Ph. 2:8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death — even death on a cross!
Ph. 2:9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
Ph. 2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
Ph. 2:11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The fall of man occurred because Adam and Eve wanted to become as great as God by force--without earning it. This is the same reason why this world can never be a Paradise; human beings want to become great, not by earning greatness through quality service to the society, but through selfish ambition that is damaging to the well being of the society. Africa happens to be the worst in this regard, and that is why Africa is the hell hole of the world. In Africa, people rise to prominence in the society not because they use their talents and diligence to work for the progress of the society, but because they have the power or connections to take what belongs to the society. Talented people who would want to work for the advancement of the society are sidelined.

God is love. In His kingdom, the greatest is the one who does not only care about his/her own interests, but also about the interests of others.

Ge. 3:5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
Ge. 3:6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.

Satan tempted Adam and Eve with selfish ambition, and they easily fell for it. They accepted the fruit of Satan in order to achieve their selfish ambition. Even today, human beings easily receive the fruit of Satan in order to achieve their selfish ambition. That is why many will take the '666' mark.

Mt. 4:9 “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
Mt. 4:10 Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: `Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’“ [Deut. 6:13]

Satan tempted the new Adam with selfish ambition, but the new Adam rebuffed him. The new Adam knew that greatness should be earned through selfless service and not through quick satanic ways.

Why do people start new Christian ministries? Is it to selflessly expose many people to the truth of Christ? Or is it to gain wealth or fame? Churches of today harass their members with tithe and all sorts of money-making gimmicks. What is the intention of all these money grabbing gimmicks? Does it portray the attitude of Jesus Christ?
