Fixed Fake Hair by LRNZH(m): 7:53pm On Nov 27, 2008
Hi people

don't know why our ladies keep fixing all that stuff on their head (weave-on etc etc).
Fake hair is black woman's problem today.
I don't fancy it and I know a lot of folks who don't.
It's expensive, it can be a pain to get on and it looks fake

I have been with European ladies and their natural hair is attractive.

It would be nice to see our ladies with their natural hair too.

No mind me oyibo babes don tire me.  LOL

that's the problem. You cant run ur fingers through a black woman's natural hair. Well in order to please us they fix their hair . . . not bad in my opinion.

If you find european hair attractive, why do you have problems with wigs and weaves? they're of the same texture (that's the reason black ladies wear weaves in the first place. so it can look european). lol
you're very confused

@OP

if u dont like it find a girl with natural hair na. angry
u cant expect that every woman will conform to ur preference do u?
Re: Fixed Fake Hair by chika98: 9:46pm On Nov 27, 2008
Then find someone who doesn't fix hair.

I like their fixed fake hair as long as it ain't blonde.
Re: Fixed Fake Hair by DavidDylan(m): 10:20pm On Nov 27, 2008
there's a way around it. Ask your woman to do minibraids. I find it far more appealing than western hair.

White women's hair is fun initially, you'll have problems when hair strands start appearing everywhere . . . since u're not used to it. Can be annoying.

Re: Fixed Fake Hair by LRNZH(m): 12:45am On Nov 28, 2008
The point is simple
if i like them (Euro ladies) for their natural hair
i want the African lady to carry her natural hair as well
African hair needs its own special care
I dated a fulani girl years back
she had long natural hair cos she takes care of it
she actually uses shea butter (oil)
that's one of the major things that attracted me to her
Afros, mini braids and well made dreads look kool on you my sisters

Pls we can be more creative

Re: Fixed Fake Hair by LRNZH(m): 12:52am On Nov 28, 2008
Hey Karma,

Fulani is African,

@ DaveDylan. I can't run my hands through some fixed hair with all the oils in them bruv

can be shitty

We need our own looks not some copycat hair type

no pun intended though

Re: Fixed Fake Hair by LRNZH(m): 1:02am On Nov 28, 2008
LOL

If you understand the science of human touch,

running hands through a woman's hair for example is universal.

Our women are beautiful but are not exploring their own type of beauty enough

black hair can be made to look really good if we really try

Re: Fixed Fake Hair by Nobody: 1:33am On Nov 28, 2008
This one again?

If you don't like seeing weave on your woman's hair, tell her. Leave the rest of us alone.

No, wearing weave does not mean we hate ourselves. Infact, it's the total opposite.

And yea, not everyone looks good with weave on. That's the message y'all should be passing to those sad sistahs

Hey Karma,

Fulani is African,

Where are you from?
Re: Fixed Fake Hair by LRNZH(m): 3:12am On Nov 28, 2008
V. Nigerian and I like to keep it that way
I think I am less insular cos I am not from any of the three majors
Hausa, Yoruba n Ibo.

Ciao
Re: Fixed Fake Hair by KarmaMod(f): 3:14am On Nov 28, 2008
yet you've dated more white woman than Nigerian
Re: Fixed Fake Hair by WesleyanA(f): 3:14am On Nov 28, 2008
tpia:

for your information:

running your fingers through a black woman's hair will not give you the same sensation as when you do it with a white woman.

why?

because the texture is not the same. Unless the hair is permed or a weave.

You can stroke black hair, but if you're getting touchy feely in the expectation of getting the same buzz you get from white hair, then you and your partner are setting yourselves up for disappointment. I stroke black hair. I don't run my fingers through it.

as per oil- oil makes white hair greasy and slick, hence they don't use it as often as black hair. Glossy hair looks good on blacks. Not always so for whites.

Comparing apples and oranges in this manner isnt good for you, really.

if you need to touch hair all the time, then get a pet or volunteer at a stable. Your black partner [ if you've got one] can also oblige you by going natural, but everyone doesnt have to be the same.

LOL. the guy is confused.  tongue

LMAO  grin I bet your black grandpa had fun running his hands through your black grandma's nappy hair back then when perms didn't really exist.
universal my nose
science of touch my neck

Guys move with the times

Your 'Machismo' is allowed but I think it's faulty

tpia:

since when does an African man become preoccupied with running his fingers through a woman's hair?

You see how some guys oyibonize themselves but shout at black women who do the same?

you have a point. stroking i meant to say.
Re: Fixed Fake Hair by HRhotness(f): 3:43am On Nov 28, 2008

what we are trying to get through your thick skull is that you can't run your fingers through a black girls hair unless she has "fixed" it with a fresh perm (no natural undergrowth etc). so you are contradicting yourself.
on that note, I will advice you to stick with non-Africans.
some people fancy fixed hair, some don't. I personally am biased towards "unfixed" hair. but one man's meat is another man's poison.

methinks the answer is simple. date girls with low cut. easy to run your hands through.

there's no pleasing awon-aiye!
if you perm, you want to look european
if you fix, it's fake embarassed embarassed
if you braid, it smells lipsrsealed lipsrsealed
if you do pepper and patewo, you're a bush villager undecided undecided

please, poster, we don't stop guys from piercing and using relaxers and dyes (even thoug it has made those items more expensive in the market angry angry ). If guys want to wear skirts today sef, we no go quarrel. go and find a girl with a hairstyle that makes you happy and stop nagging the rest of us tongue tongue tongue
