Black Friday shopping happens during this period of celebration. Most large shops, supermarkets and malls give up to 50-70%discount on goods.

Thanks for the info but I've been wondering why black friday sales haven't gotten to Nigeria yet. Except for jumia and konga who give out a few products at discounted prices,it's hard to find another outlet doing the same. For almost a week now,I've been seeing adverts by major carriers like AT &T and Verizon giving out Apple,Samsung and Sony products at very discounted prices. Even retail outlets like Amazon have very cheap products on sale right now.

I wish Nigerian retail outlets will do same. It will really help the poor masses who ordinarily may not be able to afford certain things.

Are you just knowing about this? Then you haven't
miss, Black Friday is still a day ahead, rush now to
Konga or Jumia and start shopping, update your
shopping list as fast as you can.
: - What is Black Friday?
Black Friday is a (Friday) Day that Stores/Shop
around the world offers their items at discount
prices. The items price reduce at the discount price
which the store gives. Sometimes you can get an
item at up to 80% discount off.
Like last year, there are discount on every items
categories, best deal on PS4 at Konga, there is also
some deals on mobile phones, fashion, kitchen
equipments and phone accessories etc.
: - Details on Konga Black Friday Deals:
Konga is said to offer a much discount and sell
much more this year. Last year, PS4 sell so fast that
they had to doubled the maximum number of
sales. Last year konga offer PS4 for N60,000 from
original price of N80,000+.
Konga said this year will be a biggest Black Friday,
konga will offer a much number of sale on
Computers, Phones (Electronic in General) with
high discount rates this up coming Black Friday,
this is because of high demand of electronic in last
year Black Friday sales.
Konga also offer a Free Shipping on all purchase of
N5,000 and above.
According to one of Konga post, they also offer a
way of getting best deals out of the Black Friday
Sales.
Below is the steps from Konga Blog Post.
Here are a few shopping tips for getting the best
deals possible:
•Download the Android app or iOS app on your
mobile device so you are ready to order the hottest
deals as they are no matter where you are.
•Create your wish list, by saving items in your
shopping cart before the sales event.
•Create a Konga account and update it with delivery
address and other details.
•Keep your fingers crossed! This is going to be the
most amazing sales event this year!
: - Details on Jumia Black Friday Deals:
No much explanation on Jumia BF Deals but am
able to get some information about what to expect
on jumia deals.
According to a post from Jumia web page, they list
some items with expected discount price. Below is
the list:
•iPad Mini at N29,999.
•Samsung S5 at N41,500.
•PS4 + Fifa 15 CD at N60,000.
•Blackberry Passport at N64,500.
•Blackberry Z10 phones N18,200.
And much much more items with ridiculous
discount rates.
According to this list which were all electronics,
this means that electronics will also get the highest
discount rates this year at Jumia.
Expected more discount rate on your favorite items
starting from Friday (Tomorrow) at Konga or
Jumia.
Note:- please be smart and ready, a fast network is
highly recommended, cause a fast finger is a lucky
finger in Black Friday Sale, millions of people are
waiting for this day and once it comes, they'll start
buying and you might not meet your item in store
again later in the day. That's why you need to start
right now and save all your items to your chart.
Happy Shopping & Happy Thanksgiving Day.
Cheers..

Black Friday is the last Friday before Thanksgiving. The date marks the beginning of shopping for the Christmas season. It is not common practice in Nigeria.
