I think I will be focusing more on polls from the swing states, than national polls. As we know, the swing states decide the winner.

According to Gallup:

Speaker Paul Ryan has a 71% favorable rating among Republicans, and 44% favorable rating among all US adults.

Trump has a 65% favorable rating among Republicans, but only a 33% favorable rating among American adults in general. He still has a 63% overall unfavorable rating.

Now, this is really interesting. According to Gallup:

76% of Republicans favor a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants; 84% of Americans favor the same thing.

On building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, 66% of independents oppose it, and 66% of all Americans oppose it. But 62% of Repubs favor it.
