1. Go to www.google.com/adsense
2. Look for the sign up button and click on it
3. Fill out the required fields including the website or blog you want to advertise on. This website or blogsite must have valuable and unique content not less than 10 pages.
4. Submit your application after completion of required fields.
5. Google will review your application by checking the content of your website or blog, if it meet up with the required standard, then you are approved. These review/checking your website takes 2-3 weeks. After that, email will be sent to you through the email address you provided to tell if you are approved or not.
6. If you are approved, congrats, and the next thing is to configure your new adsense advert.
Note: you will sign up through your google account if you are using blogger or other sites own by google.
7. Now after the approval, login to your adsense account to start the configuration by deciding the type of advert you want google to serve on your own pages.
8. Specify the format and layout of your adsense. Google has a helpful adsense format reference page that can help you.
You are allowed to have up to 3 different ad units on a given page. Fix them up appropriately.
9. Change the colour scheme of your ad to the colour that match your page.
10. Specify an alternate url and a specific channel for your advert.
11. Then grab the html support that will generate the ad block on your own site.
12. Select all the text in the box, then use edit-copy to get that code into your copy/paste buffer.
13. Now open up a page where you will like to include the adsense code by using edit-paste.
14. Save your template and rebuild your site. Thats all.
Warning: Do not click on your adverts, this will make google to kick you out of the adsense program.
