Highly disappointed with the result but still extremely proud of the boys. If someone had told me right at the start of the season that We would make the CL semi finals, I would have bitten your hands off. Rafa's thigh injury came at the worst possible moment of the season too. Loosing our most creative outlet meant we were up against it right from the start. It's akin to Madrid missing Vini Jr or City missing KDB. Having said of all that, I still wholeheartedly believe we can still make the Finals. The boys have nothing to loose now. Score 3+goals or go home. It's as simple as that. Hope the coaching staff drums it into their head. BTW Roland17 you need to go see a shrink before the 2nd Leg abeg. Celtic on the brink of elimination Arsenal on the brink of throwing away the League Milan on the brink of elimination...Ahn ahn nah only you waka come? FORZA MILAN! 1 Like |

We really missed Leao and Bennacer today! When he hobbled out of the game against Lazio, I did not think it was too bad. |

Proud of the boyz. Just did not create enough tonight. The first leg result totally killed our chances tbh if we are to be honest. The last two years has been something of a whirlwind considering how bad we've been for almost a decade and long may that continue. FORZA MILAN! |
Re: The AC Milan Thread: 2021/2022 Serie A Champions! by Roland17(m): 12:08am On May 17, 2023 |
chic2pimp: That first leg was disappointing and tonight I went into the game not expecting much. If we scored before half time, I would have entertained some hope. Overall, I can beat my chest and say the boys tried. Going into the season, getting out of the group stage would have been considered a success but they did not stop there, they kept pushing and punching above their weight. Making it into the semi-finals with this squad makes me proud of the lads. Unlike some bunch of overachievers who would have reminded me the goal was not to get to the semi-finals but to make it out of the group stage! #FORZAMILAN 1 Like |

Roland17: That first leg result killed everything. Surprisingly enough, I was fairly confident going into the second leg but that quickly evaporated when We went into half time goalless. Exactly Bro. I could not be any more proud of the boys even if I tried. As I said up top, considering how bad we've been for the majority of the last ten years, the last two years have been nothing short of fantastic. As long as the board continues to invest in this team, the only way is up as far as I am concerned. Roland17: LOOOOOL bruhhhhhhhhhh are you in indirecting a certain team in North London? |

This is why I absolutely detest American owners in sports outside of the US, especially football! I mean what the hell is RedBird thinking firing Maldini and Massarra? Both, particularly the legend Maldini were instrumental in our growth. We are going to lose Leao at this point! I am not sure what is true at this point. Maldini was not happy with Pioli and how the season went down, RedBird believe Pioli is untouchable. Both guys are important and you all know how I feel about the work Pioli has done, I don't think another coach would achieve this much with what he has been given. Some say it has nothing to do with Pioli as Pioli and Maldini are in good terms and this has more to do with making money from sales of players and regaining control of the club from Maldini who is revered as the leader of the club. I just hate this situation. #FORZAMILAN |

Re: The AC Milan Thread: 2021/2022 Serie A Champions! by chic2pimp(m): 12:25pm On Jun 07, 2023 |
Roland17: Absolutely disgusting. Apparently the main issue was that Maldini was pissed with the amount available for transfers this summer and if the rumoured amount is true then I can't blame Him. I mean who will 50 million get you in this current climate? Heck I doubt you'd be able to get more than a couple of great youngsters from South America with that limited amount. Also quite a few key players(most of whom came because of Paolo) are not happy at all. Hopefully this does not lead to a revolt because we sell our keep players, be prepared for any 5+years of mid table mediocrity. Lastly, even though I am grateful for the owners overseeing the longest period of sustained success we've had for a while, they should sell the club if they are unwilling to invest abeg. We are currently on the right path and simply cannot afford to fall further behind. |

Few updates Milan is chasing M. Thuram and believe he is a possibility. B. Diaz has returned to Real Madrid and signed an extension with them. Milan have confirmed M. Maignan is NOT in the market. Transfer talks are still ongoing between Milan and Kamada Pioli is looking to move on from DCK Milan have showed interest in Chukwunze This afternoon, Pioli, Massara and Maldini had lunch together. So, it is obvious the bloody owners tried to see the propaganda that there was rift between Maldini and Pioli.. “Baskards”! #FORZAMILAN! |
