We are aware that cars from cotonu are very cheap, but transporting it down to your destination is almost an (reserve my word).
What is your opinion, if you buy those cars in cotonu and make registration here in lagos, then take the papers, including your plate number back to cotonu, would that compensate the huge extra cost from boders, since your car is already registered?

Clearing at the border is wat matters. Customs at both Coutonu and Seme would have no record of your pre-registered car and so anoda case open that

If you buy your car and pay the appropriate duty at the seme or idiroko border, there will be no problems. also note that duty payment at these borders are cheaper than the Tincan and Apapa charges
