the duration for selkirk is 2years (and its eligible for 3years postgraduate permit), its estimated at 22,000candollars. I can afford 23,000dollars or maximum 25,000dollars if I defer admission and earn more. Macewan uni is also 2years, and. Might be eligible for part funding. (Total is 36.000can dollars).
Go for Selkirk den, u can alwaz move to places wt gud job prospects during holidays, if u apply wit a diploma u might b putting ursef in a fix

Fedex takes 3 working days to Canada...not 3 weeks. I sent all my docs through them.

MockinJay:

Yeah. Go to Waec head office with #20k+(to be on the safer side)

You will be needing a letter of attestation either from a clergyman, Imam or from the Court.

Also, An affidavit. Both should cost you nothing less than #1k.

You will pay for the original result and send via courier. Depending on location and the choice of courier. FedEx is #9500 to USA and Canada.
Chase is #8250 or so to Canada.

It would take approximately three weeks for it to get there. Waec will have to verify the result and all. If it's Waec Nov/Dec, take with you your original Certificate!

U dont need original results for both transcript but for nov/dec u will need an attestation aside d affidavit, total cost sud b arund 15k
Then courier ranges from 9+k to 12k

For nov/Dec, he needs an original Certificate. The reason I said he should take #20k+ with him is that just transportation would cost more(though depends on his home location). Taking your car with you is a big No No! The traffic is horrible!

House pls I need help, I got pre-admission, serlkirk college and Macewan UNiversity, for selkirk its a post graduate degree while Macewan is a Diploma, I have 6years gap but I av been working since I graduated. My dilemma is Selkirk is in a remote area, I don't know if the location is ok(read it has forest and mountains) and jobs aren't much. I need response from people pls how is castlegar BC. Macewan uni on d other hand is in edmonton good location, but d diploma is more expensive and I don't know if its reasonable for a graduate with distinctions,6years work experience to pick up a diploma course(I also read that there are. A lot of jobs in edmonton and d health plan is favourable for immigrants). The ultimate goal is PR, pls advise me on which to pick, selkirk or Macewan. Am supposed to send in my application today, don't want to waste money. Thanks in advance

Hi @funto900.

How did you get the pre-admission at Selkirk? Could you kindly share the email address you sent in enquiries to?

Thanks

You still have high hope in Lag, but IB is so dry.

Oga shiga and my fellow house members, Can I use salary certificate as a replacement for an introduction letter. My company said they can only gimme salary certificate which will state my job title, salary, and will introduce me...can I use it.

Well it's part of it, but then u ll need to provide an Introduction letter, that isn't so hard to fetch bro! It is so vital in ur application (it's like going out without a purpose) that's just the use of intro letter! Then every other documents can follow! Goodluck bro

I applied this month. I went with my transcript printout and they decline further processing. A church member of mine works there even at a higher rank. I'm supposed to scan the original and send to them today.

Kelvinpam
no biggie but the school just sent my student ID number and promised to get back to me as soon as my transcript arrives their office.
