The poor, the widows, the motherless, the needy, the homeless, the stranded, the sick etc need all the love and care they can get to bring out the best in them, which is a deep down internal blessed words of prayers that God hears.
The rich on the other hand have money and all the good things of life, which are most times the best they have & can give.
The untold secret is that since God has not created an independent being, he has put in and blessed the poor with what the rich need and in reverse blessed the rich with what the poor needs.
An attribute which God cherish is now required of a rich man to reach out to the poor in his environment, and that's HUMILITY.
Many problems of the rich nowadays wouldn't have been overwhelming if only they give with love, care and humility, God would have heard the prayers of the poor said on their behalf.
The story the rich man and beggar Lazarus in Luke 16:19-25 is very instructive here, the relationship of the rich with the poor in his environment SHALL determine his(d rich) destination.
I AM BECAUSE YOU'RE, YOU ARE BECAUSE I AM.

Proverbs 13:7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
