We the veterans(military pensioners) are mobilizing our men from the 36 states of the federation to disrupt the forth coming armed forces remembrance day in Abuja on the 15 Jan 2015. Its hypocrisy for Gudluck led administration to be remembering the dead heroes while the living ones are being neglected. His govt have been paying lips service to the welfare of the vetrans. Military pensioners have been protesting since January for non payment of their 4yrs pension appears and govt have remained adamant to their agitations. We see no reason for the govt to be squandering millions of naira every yr in the name of armed forces remembrance day when the military pensioner are dying off without enjoying the fruits of their labour. To this effect, come 15 Jan 2014, we r going to occupy eagle square. Please inform any military pensioner you know. Thanks

Calm down veteran, check your date and change it. I support you people. The living should live better lives because of the patriotism of these veterans. They should never be neglected. But, is it not the same pension the bokoharam buhari is receiving too? How does it work?

Buhari unlike the poor veterans have accumulated enough for his generation unborn. Jonathan should pay the poor veterans who are old and have no other means of livelihood. They put in their youthful age to the service to their nation.
