Q-Basic is pretty so cheap that even a primary6 student would learn it in 6hours. Now, does that stop it from being a programming Language? Of course, No! It is! That's why we are not on thesame line.Started my argument on his reply to me that HTML,CSS,PHP,SQL,Javascript/Jquery are all not programming languages.That the only one close 2 it was javascript.My argument wasn't even on HTML,of cos it's a Markup Language.Wud I say CSS is a programming language,which is just used 2 design pages?My argument was him generalizing them all as not.

Now,the question I was trying 2 ask him is,is PHP,SQL and Javascript that he considered scripting languages not programming languages?

U were narrowing my argument to HTML,which wasn't my point.

Now my point is aside from SQL,which there is still much debate wether or not it is a programming language.PHP and Javascript are.Though they are script programming,but they still find there way in2 other use.

You guys shud read books,and not judge things from your own perspective or definitions.Like I said,there are over a hundred programming languages,more are being invented by the day.Every language has it's area of specialization.You can't say u want 2 go into building apps or games,and u r spending ur time learning HTML,CSS,PHP or even Javascript/Jquery.These are mainly for programming the web.

By the way,by simple definition,to program means to give a command that is understood by the end side machine or server or whatever it is is the receiver,and such command or set of instructions is carried out.

GideonG was just defining terms judging from the way he feels about them,and that's like leading people astray.
