WAGE14: It's a shame you took so long to update. You missed out on a perfect opportunity to talk about it. There's really no point in acting coy for these kinds of things.

Myopic foresight, Poor Planning (and most likely shuddy Execution inclusive) is what you get when you rush everything - signing up to Nairaland to advertise an event A DAY to it; thinking people don't have other important things their doing that day. FYI, it is *not* all the leading game developers in the (Nigerian) region that are coming. Rather, only those *you*, Mr. OP and your crew, have contacted and further invited to your 'get-together'. I am very curious as to what these lineup of people have to say. Because I am very certain that there are hardly any (if any, very few) developers in this country that are treating Games the way they really should. - Beyond all that entertainment fluff that most people take the medium to be. Many of the topics on that conference list, on your site, are uncreative, bland, and reflect nothing that would be of key interest to those even trying to get into the space in Nigeria, other than what is already widely available on line. I sincerely wonder if the organizers of this 'expo' really did their homework at all; or just decided to do 'copy and paste'. All in all, a near-certain disappointment, IMO. I'm just curious to see how this cacaphony of ideas you call a 'gaming expo' will play out. |
