1 - What Are You Waiting for to be Happy?

Happiness is not out of reach. It is not a pot of gold at the end of an infinite rainbow. It is right in front of you, waiting to be grabbed and enjoyed.

We imagine men and women whose lives have lead them to success young and all the things they can do that we equate with happiness, but the truth is different. These people reach such a high level of success because they learned young how to be happy in everything they do.

They don’t define themselves by material milestones - they enjoy the journey, success, failure and all.

2 - The Path to Success is Open and Waiting

For this reason, there is a path to success open in front of you right now. It is the same path taken by men and women before you who had amazing ideas and no clear idea how to get those ideas into the hands of people like us.

And yet they stepped foot out onto that path. Jobs and Wozniak in their garage. Page and Brin in their studio apartment. Zuckerberg in this dorm room. They succeeded because they had a vision and imagined success at the end of the path they had yet to start down.

We can do the same.

3 - Measuring in Achievements Is a Dead End

And yet measuring success in terms of how many times you cut costs or how many products you produce is not a healthy measure of self.

Will you remember a quarterly report on your death bed? Will your children?

Success and happiness are measured by the people we influence and joy we have in influencing them. The smartest men and women on earth find a way to influence the masses and find joy on a scale few of us can imagine.

And yet it is the same as what you can do on a small scale even today.

Living Up to Your Own Standards

Living up to your own standards takes time and commitment - a devotion to self and to the future you have set out to achieve.

If you have a vision, make it a reality and enjoy every step it takes to get there. Don’t judge yourself on how you performed at any given point.

1 - The Only Path to Success is through Action

What can you achieve if you don’t act?

It’s a simple question but I want you to ask it every time you find yourself stepping back and delaying action. When you could be doing something, why are you not?

Why are you asking questions, shying away from opportunities, and hiding from chances to be more active? Why are you afraid?

The answer may surprise you.


2 - Overcoming the Fear that Drives Inaction

To find success, you must act. Successful men and women don’t need to think about why they are inactive. They never are.

But most people struggle - with the fear that they will lose what they already have.

You can’t lose what you never have, though, and by remaining inactive, you’re avoiding the opportunity to achieve something more than you’ve before dreamed possible.

Will you look back and regret your inaction for years to come. Will you start an empire from a drawing table like Walt Disney or work in the same job for 40 years and wonder what could have been?

How many people have wished they could remake that decision?

3 - What is the Worst That Could Happen?

Ask yourself this question and you will almost never dislike the answer. The worst that can happen - from embarrassment to rejection - these are short term things. They are learning experiences. They are chances for you to learn and get better.

The best salesman who ever lived probably heard no hundreds of times before he heard yes. But he never quit.

People have been calling entrepreneurs like Richard Branson and Elon Musk crazy for years, and yet today they are billionaires who are changing society for the better. Because they never worried about what could go wrong - only what could go right.


Ambition Cannot Be Given


1 - Your Motivation Can Drive Someone to Act

Every person creates barriers to their own success - it is those who recognize these barriers and take them down that have the greatest chance of fulfilling their dreams.

But each person must take down their own barriers. You cannot wait for another to “give” you what you desire most in life. You need to be ready to to go out and take it for yourself.

2 - Each Person Must Take Responsibility for Their Own Success

By taking responsibility for your own success you show yourself and others that you deserve everything you achieve. No one has given you the right to lead. Or to acquire wealth and happiness.

You earned it by tackling challenges head on and taking down barriers to that success. At the same time, you cannot take down these barriers for another man or women - you can be supportive, you can be trustworthy, and you can be a good friend, but you cannot take on the burden of their hardest decisions.

3 - Facilitate, Don’t Force

By facilitating someone’s success, you can help them achieve something even more exciting. You can help them become something greater than they realized they could be and it will change their life forever.

By facilitating the man or woman they want to become - offering support and anything they need to get there - you can help them succeed without taking over.

The same is true for you - don’t wait for someone to take over and push you to the next level. You need to be willing to take that step on your own.

The ambition to succeed comes from within.

No one is born with the ability to lead or the drive to be successful. They must learn it and then earn the right to fulfill their dreams.

No one will give it to you. But they will be there for you every step of the way, offering support and providing the pillars you need to find the fastest path to fulfilling your dreams.



1- A single talent is not a ticket to success in life. It must be nurtured on a daily basis.

You must challenge yourself and look for an opportunity to try new things and succeed in those things. It is with this kind of open mind and thirst for intellectual adventure that you will discover and push the limits of your true potential.

2 - Ambition Opens a World of Discovery to You



Imagine a world with no ambition. We would be without nearly everything we hold dear. The great thinkers, inventors and businesspeople of the 20th and 21st centuries would have sat back and continued to sell ice from carts and horses from stables.

We benefit from a society of ambitious overachievers who never stopped wondering “what can I do next?”

Be that person.

Always ask what you can do next and how you can achieve any goal you set for yourself if you only open your mind to the possibilities that success will give you.

3 - Imagine What CAN Do Instead of What You CANNOT

Imagine a world in which your skills allow you to do anything you want - to push any boundary and discover any path to success.

Imagine you can live that life and become the person you’ve always dreamed of. Now why can’t you do it?

We spend too much time imagining the things we cannot do that we forget how to be ambitious and push forward with the things we can. Don’t try to be good at everything or nothing. Be very good at the things which you were born to do and enjoy that you live a life that allows you to do that.

Ambition Drives Dreamers

The great dreamers of our day and age - Richard Branson, Elon Musk, and until recently Steve Jobs - these people have ambition greater than even they need and yet they strive to do more, achieve more, fly higher.

Be like them and never let your ambition wane as you move towards your goals.
