It pains me when I read news of some of the old halls of residence (Obafemi Awolowo, Adekunle Fajuyi, Murtala Muhammed, Moremi, etc) in fire or decaying without any attempt at renovating them.

I was still in a room in that block sometimes last week. Thank God no one was hurt and that it has been brought under control.

this hostel and fire...i experienced it once wen i was there. na wa o. thats d reason u cant bring in gas or electrical appliances. there was a time hotplate was banned. it is well
