Looking at our today's youths, do they look like someone that can pass any exams ? Their online comments alone tells everything about them. take example of your page here, most of them will never read the article but their conclusion will always base on headlines thus leads to negative comments. So how do you expect such youths to pass any school exams ? they are all blockhead. You will only find them on social networks, nothing else. the students are always on facebook campaigning for politician who has already made it in life. They wil continue to fail if they fail to study. Shame |

personal59: Looking at our parents today, have they had the chance to inculcate moral discipline in their children. How can a parent see how playful a child is and refuse to adjust the child to the system of intensive education and learning? how can a parent pay a teacher to write external and sometimes internal examination for their children and expect them to use their leisure time for reading? They will continue to ping, whatsapp and facebook because they feel there is no need to read. Looking at the school infrastructure, you will observe that the set up has contributed to the increasing decline of the educational standard of the Nigerian child education. Now let me correct an impression "They are all blockhead," When you use that, then you run into a hasty conclusion that a human has no brain. No child has a block head and if you doubt me, ask Ben Carson the neurosurgeon who was regarded as a block head and later credited with being the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins joined at the head (Hint: Read "Think Big" by Ben Carlson). Discovering a child's potential should be every persons ultimate goal. I am not trying to criticize your point but to emphasize on it and mitigate the risk of discouragement it poses to them as they read through it. Please encourage them to read. In Nigeria, we are looking for solution and not desolation. Thank you Sir/Madam for your points and i love great Nigerians like you. |
