Yesterday when I was going home from work, I started driving for 2 minutes before I realized I did not push down d handbrake. When I did I noticed the abs light was on and has been on since. Pls how do I get it cleared.

A scan will reveal the wheel affected. I feel its one or both your rear wheel sensors at fault. Get a scanner that can read abs codes.

Would suggest you read this the model might be different but it might still be applicable.

Try checking the 5A Ignition fuse behind coin box dash panel near steering wheel. if its blown and blows again it looks like an electrical problem.

I tracked the same fault on my 1998 Avensis 1.8 to a blown 5A IGN fuse located in dash fusebox behind coinbox. No other circuits were affected apart from ABS light constantly on and unable to communicate with systems. Once replaced, ABS light functioning ok. No problems since.
