The announcement that over seventy percent of those who wrote the Nov/Dec Waec exam failed is quite sad. The amount of people who failed threatens the education and socioeconomic life of our country more than anything. Its time we try to help our self and others around us conquer this problem. I think the following can help;
1 . We need to develop a personal reading plan rather than rely on our teachers and school for everything. Your possession of the appropriate textbooks will only make you understand the various subjects more.
2. Some of us have crossed this hurdle and we can help teach our siblings and friends on how to answer questions that may likely come up. Most of the people that do write this exam are often times not prepared.
Lastly the willingness to succeed rest with the person that bears the burden. Our ability to undergo discipline is key to our success.

Sometimes, I feel the Nigerian school and the Nigeria curriculum over-labours students.

Learning isn't as spicy as it should be. All about pen and paper, no extra-curricula activities that are directly and indirectly connected with their subjects in class.

And the idea of harbouring only 'aged' teachers in schools is as unfavourable as the idea of utilizing inexperienced youngsters as teachers to maximize cost.

A mix of youthful vitality and veteran experience with tolerance all the way in-between can unleash the potential of students in a way you never thought possible.

Reduce their workload

The area of physical development is very important to develop a proper mental growth. At the end of the day its important to know that we are not likely to get as many good and qualified teachers we might need into the system. Therefore the best is to encourage the students to get as much information as possible.
