Most of the time the best place to advertise your blog is where there is pool of bloggers with common interest. Joining a community like Live Journal or Greatest Journal is the best shot for a blogger with the same goal.

The most interesting part of it is that there are communities for virtually any subject or interest you can think of or you are intending to create. So I still maintain that community is a great place to be when advertising your blog matters.

Another good thing you need to know about community is that you are not bound by any law that is you are free to join as many as you want.

Take for instance, if you are into blogging about betting, skiing in Tahoe, swimming and travelling, just look through the communities and join any one that is of great interest to you.

Just start by posting something related to your chosen field, people will definitely see your article and perhaps try checking your personal blog.

I just want you to take note of this; don’t just write a sentence and expect people to follow your blog. If you really want to get people to follow your blog just write something interesting that is something worth reading and you will get them.

Joining communities is a great way to advertise your blog and at the same drive traffic to your blog. The aim is using link to your blog post to bring the reader back to your blog that is linking back to your blog.

But do it in a mature way, don’t just let them think you want to get traffic, as in the case of posting a comment in someone’s blog, otherwise, they will not visit your blog or the community will get you banned.
