2015 President - What Is God Saying?(a Must Read) by joeadex(m): 7:41pm On Dec 21, 2014
HAS JONATHAN’S PRESIDENCY BECOME
IRRELEVANT? WORD OF THE LORD:
“The Lord God of heaven has put a fire on the
thrones of Nigeria that is waiting to consume those
who come to the throne in self-will.”
In 2010, under the unction of the Holy Spirit; I wrote
these words about President Jonathan’s
presidency:
The Lord said clearly that the divine mandate he is
giving to President Jonathan is to prepare the way
for the David that he is bringing to seat on the
throne of Nigeria. Jonathan is to lay the foundations
that will lead to the emergence of this David. That is
the divine mandate of God to him and we have a
duty to watch over him in prayers to ensure that
this agenda is not high-jacked or aborted. We have
a duty to continue to pray so that the President will
be focused on this prophetic mandate of God,
because once he tries to exceed it his presidency
will become irrelevant. I believe that is what
happened to the former Nigerian President.”
Yesterday (21-11-14) and for no reason at all, this
quote started jumping out at me causing me to raise
the question, whether Jonathan's presidency has
become irrelevant to God.
Being that my commitment to the Lord is to be His
vessel and to share His word no matter how hard or
unpleasant, I started tuning my antennae
heavenwards. My initial impressions are best
articulated in the words of Daniel to King
Nebuchadnezzar when he was called to bring an
unsavoury word to the king:
“My Lord, the dream be to them that hate thee and
the interpretation thereof to thine
enemies.” (Dan.4:19b)
If I were bringing this word to the President, and
somehow, I am placed in a position where I am to
tell him the mood of heaven concerning his
presidency, I will say exactly the same words to
Him.
How did the President get to this point?
I articulated the mandate of God to President
Jonathan in my book ‘IN THE MASTER’S
PRESENCE.’ If you have the book please read pages
340 to 354. God called President Jonathan to lay a
new foundation for Nigeria. This is why he is the
President at the helm of affairs during Nigeria’s
centenary when the colonial foundation on which the
Nigerian nation was built ran its full course and
expired. A person called to build a new foundation
must judge corruption and wickedness. I am afraid
the President has not done well in this area.
The constitutional conference was a step in the
right direction but does the President have the will
to fight to implement its essential recommendations
with all the hawks and self-centred people at the
National Assembly?
The President is also called to make room for the
David that the Lord will use to rebuild Nigeria, but
has he started praying to ask the Lord to show Him
this David so that he can start working for his
emergence.
God raises leaders at different times in a nation’s
history to address specific problems. Is it an
accident that the President is leading the nation at a
time of a global Islamic agenda to dominate the
whole world? The Boko Haram insurgency must be
situated in the context of a global Islamic agenda to
dominate the world again and raise a caliphate that
will rule the world the way Islam did with the
Ottoman Empire. Islamic escatholgy teaches that a
twelfth Iman (The Mahdi) will arise at the end times
to lead Islam to world dominion. This aspect of
Islamic escathology agrees with what the bible
teaches about the end-time anti-Christ. All
branches of Islam owe their allegiance to Islam and
not to any state, and without understanding the
spiritual under-tone of the conflict with Islam, the
political leadership will never evolve the right
strategy for dealing with the problem.
For Islam to effectively fulfill this vision, it has to
take hold of the whole rebellious forces birthed
through Nimrod the first African monarch with the
final opposition against God in view. Nigeria
happens to be the nation with the largest number of
blacks in the whole world, and so the nation is
important to God and Satan. You see that in Nigeria,
the number is evenly matched as rough estimate
show that about half of Nigeria’s population are
Christians with the other half as Moslems. It is not
so in any other nation in the world and so Nigeria
will be the theatre where these forces will clash.
The Lord has sent His word ahead to us that Nigeria
will be the burial ground for Islam.
If the President does not see this larger picture, he
will be scratching the surface and NEVER be able to
evolve the rights strategy to deal with the problem.
I restate the agenda that the lord set for the
President between 2011 and 2015 as I outlined it in
My book;
‘Nigeria has the opportunity to come back on track
but for this to be a reality, there are five areas the
leadership must focus on in order to succeed. The
years 2011-2015 can be make or mar years for
Nigeria. The five areas are:
a. Foundation.
b. Institution building.
c. Global Trends.
d. Strategic Alignments.
e. The Second Coming of Christ.
Could it be that the Lord is judging that the President
has not measured up to standard in these areas?
For example, why has the slump in oil prices taken
us by surprise as if discerning people world-wide
did not see the hand writing on the wall?
Commenting on global trends, this is what I wrote in
page 349 of my book as far back as 2010:
“What are we doing about finding a viable
alternative to oil? The oil industry is likely to change
in the next few years with the discovery of shale oil
in Israel…
About 20 years ago shale oil was discovered in
Israel but commercial exploitation was impossible
because of the environmental issues involved and
cost of refining. However, in the last few years two
things have happened that changed the equation.
Firstly, the price of oil has gone up significantly
making exploration commercially viable. Secondly,
an Israeli firm working in conjunction with an
American company has developed a technology to
refine oil shale underground thereby by-passing the
environmental hazards associated with refining. If
this project were to take off, Israel will become a
major player in the oil industry in the world and this
has enormous implications for the world economy
especially Nigeria and other mono product
economies. Are we seeing ahead and making
plans?”
It is a shame, that just four years after we published
these words, the reality has dawned on us and in-
spite of warnings we have been caught off-guard.
Our government economists are predicting that oil
prices will stabilize next year but this is a
deception. Oil will take a further dip because nations
like Israel that are preparing for war will soon
become self-sufficient in oil and this will further
bring down the price because nations like Russia
will also like to sell at all costs and this will make
the OPEC block irrelevant.
I see the judgment hand of God coming on OPEC
and if I were Nigeria’s leaders I will think seriously
about pulling out from the unfruitful alliance before
the hammer of God falls. Could it also be that this is
the reason why OPEC has come into the hands of
Nigeria and also into the hands of an iron lady that
fits the biblical picture of a subtle woman?
The greatest need of President Jonathan today is to
have around him counsellors who will counsel him
by the Spirit of God and I do not see many of such
men around him.
2015 AND APC:
Yesterday, General Buhari finally laid to rest the
whole controversy over who will be his running
mate by choosing a well-respected lawyer and
Christian leader, Prof. Osinbajo to run with him.
Some beloved brethren asked me my take on this
and this is how I respond:
The first question to ask in this situation is what is
the Lord saying? Who among the leaders has God
chosen and raised for this time? (See Dt.17:15).
What I heard from the Lord is that His heart is set
on David.
I asked the Lord again concerning this David, and
He told me specifically that the David He has for
our nation will be an Igbo man from the eastern part
of the country, specifically from Anambra State.
He said that He will go back to the foundations, at
the junction where Nigeria’s destiny was distorted
through tribalism and pick a man from there and
begin the journey again.
This is the word I heard from the Lord. I am
publishing it because the Lord said the same thing
to different praying people including a prophet from
the northern part of our nation.
Gen. Buhari is a man of proven character and
integrity. Prof. Osinbajo is amply qualified to be the
Vice President of our nation. He will do well if given
the opportunity. But they are not the ones the Lord
is raising for our nation at this point.
SO WHAT DO WE PRAY AND HOW DO WE PRAY:
The prayer point the Holy Spirit has crystalized for
me as I pray for the nation is simple:
‘Lord raise this David for us through whom you will
rebuild our nation. Do whatever it takes to bring this
David to the throne.’
As I pray this prayer, I see God’s fire on the throne
of Nigeria. I believe we are entering the season
where men will cheat, kill and do whatever they do
to win elections but they will not be able to seat on
the throne because the Lord has not called them.
God’s purpose has gone beyond President Jonathan
and Buhari. I see the President winning the election
next year, but I doubt if he will be able to sit on the
throne simply because the Lord is NOT inviting him
afresh and he has not held meaningful
conversations with the Lord on what he is to do.
Does it mean that Christians should not vote? No.
we must vote one way or the other. If you put
President Jonathan and General Buhari side by side,
I will choose Jonathan. But even as I am choosing
him I have also made room in my heart for the
intervention of God. I will not cry if the Lord starts
shaking things, because I know that he is shaking
with a redemptive purpose in mind.
May your kingdom come O Lord and may your will
be done concerning the throne of Nigeria. That is
the right place to stand on this matter.
In Christ,
Messenger!!!
