Google has begun the expansion of the recently launched Android One in a bid to expand its market further south into Asian markets.Following the launch of the Android One program few months ago in India, it has expanded to other Asian markets: Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. This has the capacity to add about 200 million users to the Android One program. The Android One is a step taken by Googleto improve the Android experience on low end mediatek phones.Google has worked with with OEMs such as Karbonn, Spice and Micromax in India, and to deliver Android One, which is a stock version of the OS that lacks UI customisation but offers end-users the latest version of Android for at least two years.Bangladeshi smartphone company will launch its first android one device, and previous existing android one devices will also be sold in the three new markets.Google also plans to take the android one to Indonesia and the Phillipines. We hope these devices are extended to Africa with Nigeria being a potential market.
