Selma is a movie long talked about in various online media, featuring a duo of our Nigerian root actors David Oyelowo and Carmen Ejogo. Apparently the movie finally opened just today, and has earned an unusual 100% same day, on the rotten tomatoes scale. This is the first time I've ever seen such a rating for any movie at all, and the quality of our diaspora actors makes me proud to be Nigerian. Story below: The much anticipated Christmas day launch Hollywood movie "Selma" starring David Oyelowo and Carmen Ejogo has opened to limited release today, to rapturous reception, scoring an incredible 100% on the dreaded Rotten Tomatoes' ratings! Selma is an American history drama, written by Paul Webb and directed by Ava DuVerna. It stars David Oyelowo as Martin Luther King jr, Carmen Ejogo as Coretta Scott King and Tom Wilkinson as President Lyndon Johnson.
