GINI!!!! I absolutely love Spike Lee movies.  I have tried to atleast see all his big and small productions once.  They are very moving.  

Not to mention one of my favorite movies is New Jack City. Mayne o Mayne is that the movie to see. It has it all include. The romance, action, deceit, and not to forget the violence. I loved it.

How can someone not LOVE Titanic and sound of music??

Why did i get married is a good movie. I enjoyed it actually. How can you lot forget Spike lee films eg do the right thing etc

Yes City of God is an AMAZING film

I think when one says Black american movies, they mean typical ones.

Not Spike Lee although he can get militant at times.

Inside Man/Crooklyn & Malcom X are good.

Spike Lee is truely an amazing Director. I mean from "Do the Right thing" to "School Daze". Don't forget "Jungle Fever" "Mo' Betta Blues". And is best movie I think is "Malcolm X" with Denzel Washington.

Na, it gotta be bottom. Nobody in their senses would choose otherwise. I saw how many posts this thread received yesterday and I had to go back and check what started it all. Let's just say I'm a fan of Karma. She doesn't say stupid things. And if she mistakenly does and someone corrects her (not that I've seen this) I imagine she'd shut up afterwards. I don't know about the other fellow though. Maybe it's because TDK was being re-released that got him confused. Like my mom always says, if you keep quiet, no one can ever know you're dumb.

And about all this good film/bad film y'all are on about.

Titanic was a great movie if you leave the story out of it (the story's just like any other love story). I paid more attention to the technicalities and historical accuracy etc. And it scored high poits. Cameron hasn't been able to top that performance (probably cuz he didn't try). Peter Jackson and Christopher Nolan (in similar situations) are at least trying to meet the standards of their respective (supposed) bests.

Sound of Music whether you like it or not was/is a classic. In every sense of the word. What? You prefer Chicago? Or Moulin Rouge? Seriously? Though I'm an oldies fan so I realise I might be biased. I think movies of that age could do no wrong.

I couldn't agree more! Spike Lee IS paranoid.

Were you talking about Tyler Perry? He's supposed to be a producer of B rated/Low budget movies so I'm guessing the story lines should be in tune with the rest of the production.

Another one of my absolute favorite movies have to go to[b] Things Fall Apart[/b] which is an upmost classic. And of course 300 which was amazing from start to finish.
