The course you want to study at OAU isn't that competitive,so I can say Yes! You can choose OAU as second choice only if you have someone to "pull" it for you and follow it up,if not its a 50/50 chance OAU being a federal university,so many applicants "on their neck"...

I scored 70% with upper credit applied for Public Admin. but still yet to be admitted. Meanwhile a colleague of mine scoring 59% got admitted via the first admission list. I was damn frustrated. Pls is there any hope of being admitted?

personally, I did not regularized till now and I applied with my NCE certificate with the use of other diploma and I was given admission. but I think I still need to do it becos of nysc program.

Ur school oau matrix is what is needed for nysc or so I think

Your school did the regularization for you,without it your name won't be on jamb portal.

no oooo, I did not apply for it and I didn't pay anyone for it. I just applied through other diploma and I was given the admission on jamb and the sch portal.

I have so many question that need answer and i will appreciate anyone that take his/her own time to answee me accurately with 100% precision.
1) can I apply through DE when am currently writing ND 2 first semester exam(I will finish my programme by first week of august and my result/transcript may not be out till January next year)?
2)is the admission strictly based on ur previous school grade or your screening score or ur previous school standard?
3)what is the implication of not submitting your credential even though you have a good screening score ?
4)when is the deadline for submission of credential?can you be offer admission without you submitting though it will be ready during clearance,registration and screening period?
5)can u apply with a school that is not from their catchment ?
6)I heard that some years ago that oau black-list some polytechnics is it true?if yes what is their name .

You don't know the grade you might finish with, you may predict it is distinction which at the end might be upper. That will result to contradiction , because it is required of you to fill your grade category accurately during reg.
Your transcript too won't be ready even till the time of admission process and compilation. Submission of credentials and transcript are prerequisites for securing admission in oau, you might get 100/100 in their exam but if your credentials are not well submitted and intact you won't be considered. Though some schs like lasu don't make submission of transcript mandatory.
2. Your admission is based different criteria, your previous grade, post utme score, your qualification E.g ICAN is given more preference than ND, connection as strong 4g , the prestige of your previous sch, and God's grace.

bt i have someone who finishd ND last year august and got admission to oau via d.e, doh i'm yet to know how she did it bt her roomate told me that she collected letter from her H.O.D,i'm still trying to contact her to know the real fact.
