If only things could for once not occur at their constant time and schedule,
So that the day can be extended far longer than necessary,
And the seasons prolonged,
Just so that you could be brought forth.

If only what is norm now, could be altered in time and space,
So that the abnormally figured can become normally disfigured,
And the ducts become less restrictive,
Just so that you could be brought forth.

If only our expectations could for once disappoint us,
So that the deluge can make way for drought in its period,
And the fellowship of the germs become unencumbered,
Just so that you could be brought forth.
