As the world celebrates With fireworks and cakes Tossing the glasses of smiles Popping the bottles of wine The sun expressing its gladness Our 'laughter' neglecting sadness It's another journey of 365 A journey so long... perfect to decide A calendar littered with extraodinaries Mixed with honey and pure berries Here comes the new year Let's sit and make resolutions Why we sit till we die here? Lets work for a new revolution To the world, lets be kind To reason and have our characters refined To be a helper of mankind To nurture a fervent soundmind To kneel with out lips in motion Our hand clasped, praying for our nation Starting each morning a brand new way Pretending all day, it's a new year's day For to us all, much joy will be seen I say welcome to twenty-fifteen 6 Likes 2 Shares |
