I am in applied mathematics year 3 unilag. the course includes topics like: error analysis, interpolation linear and non linear eqn, curve fitting, numerical soln of algebraic and transcendental eqn, numerical diff and integration, initial value problem for ordinary diff eqn. let me know do one you can start with me i learnt that the course is some how thanks |

Advanced statistical mathematics and Linear algebra. I have a mod here for your interest. I am in my first year Applied Mathematics Greenwich University, London England. I am not very bad with Maths and Stats. I really don't like proofs. |

write de movire's and use binomial expansion cos is the real part then you will use trig identity to arrive at your answer. |

Give me sometime, I will go through my firefox Bookmarks and add some useful links for computational algorithms, Maths and Mechanics. Have a look here to see some video from MIT, Linear Algebra. If you are into those kind of things let me know by detailing your particular interest. I am preparing for exams for January, so I could be a little busy for now. I am going through Linear Algebra, Statistics and Discrete Maths revisions. What computer language are you into? Or are you particularly concern about their semantics? |

I saw the above question you posed at me and honestly I wasn't able to so;lve it completly without nhaving a peep at the solution you gave. I'm okay with the elementary part of differetial calculus (1st principle, product rule, chain rule, log, quotient rule, explicit differentials and exponentials). You should pls give more tutoring on application of differentiation and then move on to Integral calculus (specifically trapezium rule, integration by parts and by partial fractions. I just got thru with my O'levels some months ago and intend to get into college (university) next session. Thanks man. |

@Godisking. You need to do your A-Level after your O-Level. I am suprise you know this far from O-Level. You will understand more after your A-Levels. A-Level will prepare your for HE (Higher Education) i.e. University. Believe me, it is suicide to enter HE with O-Level, particularly if you are a Mathematics major or Engineering, physics or Computer Science major. Enough of mathematics, lets derve into mechanics PLS I NEED SOLUTION TO THIS QUESTION QUESTION 1 A cantilever AB is of length 1.5m is acted upon by a point load of 2N at the egde (point B) of the cantilever. A uniform distributed load of 3N also acts on this cantilever from B over a distance of 1m (point C). Calculate the shear force and bending moment, thus draw a shear force - bending moment diagram.
