No answer.. It was in 1978 during Murtala mohammed/ Obasanjo's regime. The plan to make the decree started when Late Gen Murtala mohammed was alive and was in power(Between 1975-1976).Obasanjo made the decree 2 years after his death. 1978. I hope i am correct.

Sir/ma'am to be sincere with u, medicine is what makes UNIBEN, UI, UNILAG and OAU the giants in tertiary education. a minimum of 250 in jamb(not official though) puts u in a good position in the competition. Next comes the PUME where u'll also need an high score like 70+ . So I'll advice u to change to a less competitive course e.g microbiology, and if u're DETERMINED and HARDWORKING enough, u could switch to medicine in 200L.

Next comes the PUME where u'll also need an high score like 70+ . So I'll advice u to change to a less competitive course e.g microbiology, and if u're DETERMINED and HARDWORKING enough, u could switch to medicine in 200L.

If I'm correct, Jamb stated in its Brochure that a minimum of 6 credits is required for admission into tertiary institutions. So as far as I'm concerned, u've got nothing to fear.

A word- don't get intimidated by people's score e.g ur friend had A1 all through, it could lead to discouragement. #work hard and pray.

I like this...

The numerator of a fraction is 5 less than the denominator. If 6 is added to the numerator and 4 to the denominator the fraction is doubled. What is the fraction?
A. 2/7
B. 5/8
C. 3/8
D. -1/4

First of all *go down low* I'm not a uniben staff
Now, If u read my post I hinted that the 250 was not an official mark by UNIBEN but a score that puts one in a GOOD POSITION. i.e it boosts ur aggregate making ur pume less stressful 4 u.

U scored 241, its not a bad score bro, UNIBEN admits on merit, so if u can show them that u got dat score urself (by assasinating their PUME) u'll be admitted.

I want us to understand something...
As long as we got 200 and above in jamb, we are all eligible to write the PUME and as long as we can score up to 50 in the exam, we can be admitted on MERIT.
A score of 200 equals 25% so we'll then decide how high our pume score should be to take us to an aggregate of not less than 50%
