You should start a business that you are very passionate about and you have inherent strengths in.

What areas are you very good at?
What experiences have you acquired over the years?

Don't bother, it doesn't have to be anything huge or complicated. It just has to be something that resonates greatly with you.

If you want to start a business to run for the long term, then it is absolutely necessary that you build it upon your strengths.

If you know the Pareto Principle very well (the 80-20 rule), you'll realize that 80% of businesses fail within the first 5 years, and out of the 20% left another 80% of those will fail within another 5 years. That leaves us with only 4% of businesses succeeding beyond 10 years. You want to know why?, the failing businesses are not building a business around their strengths.

Now I have a little twist to this principle,

80% of what you do in your business can and will be copied or duplicated by your competitors where you like it or not. The other 20% is what cannot be copied and do you know why?

It is what you have a strength in. If I want to go in depth, it'll probably be too long for this post so let me give a quick analogy,

If you've been watching our 9ja comedians you'll realise that they can all copy the same joke that one person said and deliver it in another state (hoping they've not heard that before). Most of their jokes are copied and they'll add their own twist to it to make it a little bit more funny. But have you ever seen anyone trying to sound like 'I Go Die', appear drunk like 'Klint de Drunk'?, etc. You get what I mean? They each individually have their strengths in certain areas and speech mannerisms that cannot be copied or duplicated by any other comedian. If this wasn't present in them, they'll be off the scene in no time.

Now make no mistake, if someone comes to perform like or better than any of them in that particular area, they'll be toast.

So you need to discover your strengths, build upon it, and leverage it. That's how you can build a strong, formidable and lasting business from the ground up that'll stand the test of time.

So my friend, keep your money in the bank and do some little exercise first. It might take you 24 or 48 hours but it'll be the best time you've ever spent to discover your true self.

I hope I could help.

If you honestly need help in this area, I'll be glad to offer it.

I wish you the best.

Do as I did. I started a fun international business in which you can work from home and expand your business internationally. All you need is to let another distributor register you and teach others to do the same. Wellness is the way to, and what better business can you start up with very little money yet make a lot.
