A Nairalander Open Letter To Louis Van Gaal by Kruzilano(m): 9:39pm On Jan 12, 2015
Dear Mr. Van Gaal.
I hope i find you well and i hope you are thinking
about me as well this morning.
Mr. Van Gaal first and foremost i am not a student
of philosophy and i will never be a student of
philosophy. I am also certain that the same applies
to all the United players as well as its supporters
the world over.
We have heard so much about your past
achievements, its quite a long list but be reminded
that your achievements pale into oblivion with
regards to what Manchester United has achieved.
Therefore be reminded that we have always
achieved and we know what it means to be
achievers, with consistency. In that regard i have
achieved so much more than you because i have
always been a Manchester United fan and
supporter whilst you are on a three year contract.
So i suggest you listen to me because i am more
United than you on any given day.
Managers will come and go, either voluntarily or
otherwise but i will remain a United with or without
you being around. So please understand that i hurt
more than you will ever do when United looses,
especially after producing a terrible performance.
So when i speak you must listen.
You need to know that Old Trafford is not a
laboratory where you can experiment with your
philosophy. That is why there is Carrington at your
disposal. Spend as much time as you want there
and bring us the results of your experiments at Old
Trafford.
Neither is is a lecturer room where you can impart
your Philosophy to ignorant and eager students.
We are not that and we will never be.
That big book of yours may not be the best for you
in this time and age. You spend 92 minutes
opening pages looking for a solution to score goals
and by the time you find it the game would have
been lost. The next time you will be looking for a
solution to shore up the defense and by the time
you find it Leicester would have scored 5. That
book is so out of date and a waste of time. I
suggest you invest in an I Pad for starters. Siri will
tell you everything you need to know about Pelle is
a few seconds.
At the age of 63 you are still too young to be
sitting on the bench for 90 minutes. You need to
be on your feet sometimes so that blood circulates
and provide the required nutrients for your brain. I
am not saying you are dull, no, but i am just
saying maybe your brain gets tired as the game
progresses.
You can never be worse than Wenger Mr. Manager,
but at this rate one may never know how low you
will sink my beloved team.
Maybe its because philosophy is complicated and i
cant comprehend it, so in layman's terms please:
Explain to me "why Di Maria was played as a
central striker when his running power might have
been effective in midfield, Rooney began in midfield,
when a job swap would have been more logical,
while another specialist attacker lingered out of
sight, somewhere in the executive boxes"
Maybe Radamel Falcao did not merit a place in the
starting 11 but to have Tyler Blackett, Paddy
McNair and Jonny Evans, all centre-backs on the
bench, and no room for Falcao is just senseless. I
hear you have argued you wanted the speed of
James Wilson in reserve, but then you brought on
midfielder Ander Herrera for Robin van Persie?.
Convince me that you are not crazy Mr. LvG.
I have so much to say to you Mr. Van Gaal and i
sincerely hope that you will be man enough to at
least afford me an explanation for the above
situation you created for us.
Last but not least, i hope i will never hear you talk
about philosophy again. Just win matches. Thats
all we ask from you
Thank you
Kruz

he cannot be worse than Wenger?? I laugh. at this rate, LVG isn't even superior to Moyes.
look it up. he's racked up same amount of points as Moyes did at the same stage of the season last term...and that's after spending 150 million pounds or so. trust me when I say it could have been worse. he's got De gea to thank.

De gea has won him nothing less that 15points this season.
