She sat me straight and then set me free... Her bosom brought me to life, Her breasts nursed my infancy... Her womb conveyed my foetal body... She is my Mother, She is my Saviour... When i was down in shrieks and weeping, She runs to my aid and saves my day... When i started crawling and drawling, Her eyes saw to my development... When my Feet got established and my legs started walking... Her softness caressed my heels and her liveliness kept me going... When my school age began, Her lovely strictness directed my feebleness... In my boyhood transition to Manhood, she was not found wanting!. Oh Mama, Oh Daman... You are a Rain in drought, A Light in darkness,A Sunshine in a gloomy day. You are my Mentor,My Motivator, My Friend, My Fortress of Confidence... May your days be as long as the depths of the Oceans, Your life full of love like the radiance of The Yellow Sun...
