Different people have different methods of tackling stress. unfortunately some of these method do more harm than good. To speed up dropping a bad habit its always better to replace it with a good one. So here are some replacements for your bad stress habits.

Chips junkie?
When stressed out we tend to junk up. Keep healthy nuts within reach so you can grab a handful. The omega-3s in nuts may help keep stress hormones such as cortisol in check

Energy drinker?
Just take a nap. the facts that you need an energy drink to function properly only proves that you are deprived of sleep. You can't beat stress without sleep. A 20-minute siesta is enough to trigger the hormones needed to balance excess cortisol.

All cranky?
Pop a multivitamin. All that irritation and impatience may be the result of depleted stores of calcium, copper, and zinc that come with stress. Down a multivitamin to raise those levels and mellow out..

Feel like lazing on the sofa?
Go out with a friend. A study in Behavioral Neuroscience found that simply being around other people may quash stress.

Cooling down stress with the TV?
Nah!!! better to spend 15 minutes in silence. This helps because "the brain doesn't have to filter out stressful sounds.
