Cardno® PPI is seeking a Drilling Services Manager to work in our Nigeria office for the Drilling and Production Division. This will be a rotational (28/28) contract.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Liaise with the planning department to maintain a realistic rig schedule
Report to management on drilling plans, activities and performance
Keep the Lagos Client Organization acquainted with drilling plans and operations
Assist with planning, monitoring and improving the safety of drilling operations
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of drilling EHS incidents
Ensure correct treatment, disposal and recording of drilling waste
Coordinate participation in drilling service contract preparation, review and amendment
Coordinate planning of drilling equipment and service requirements
Liaise with supply chain to ensure timely procurement of tangibles
Prepare annual drilling budget for planning and accounting
Prepare cost estimates from well programs
Oversee cost tracking to ensure accuracy and completeness
Liaise with project accounting to ensure budget approval and correct coding of expenditure
Manage the allocation of shared service costs over assets and operations
Analyze and report drilling costs to management
Ensure accuracy of requisitions and orders for drilling equipment and services
Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices for drilling equipment and services
Refine transaction process procedures to improve efficiency and quality
Keep service companies acquainted with Company drilling plans
Monitor, record and analyze service Vendor company performance
Organize regular meetings with key service companies to review and improve performance
Keep records of meetings with vendors and service companies
Administer Landmark, WellCost and OpenWells systems
Ensure accuracy and completeness of OpenWells records
Assist with analysis and reporting of drilling records from OpenWells
Develop improvements in recording of drilling data
Assist with correct filing of all necessary drilling records and documents
