“A desperate housewife who lives in Akwukwu-Igbo community near Asaba, Delta State, Eunice (surname withheld), has allegedly stolen a two-year-old neighbour’s baby and sold it for N250,000.00.

Reports said that the woman, who is currently helping the police and cooling off her heels at the state’s police, CID, Asaba, was said to have arranged for the sale of the baby with a woman who was said to have been married for 18 years without a child in Lagos before the bubble burst.

It was reliably gathered that a trusted neighbour had last Wednesday appealed to Eunice to help look after the baby to enable her buy some food items in a neighbouring community’s market.
