Selected participants will be required to work on a number of new technologies used within the financial service sector. They will develop analytical and design skills, and learn to identify the implications of technological trends on the business particularly within the financial sector. The candidates will be exposed to some advanced training (locally or overseas), self-studies and e-learning programs depending on the chosen technology of interest and the prevailing business needs.

Our choice candidates should have knowledge of either:

§ Information Systems (such as Object Oriented Programming, Information Systems Modeling and Design, Database Systems, Advanced Information Systems and web Development) OR;

§ Strategic Innovations (such as strategic planning, consumer research, disruptive innovation, service marketing and organization change).

Qualifications and Requirements:

§ A minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2.1) from a reputable higher institution in any of the following fields: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration.  

§ A Master’s degree (in any E-business & Innovation course)  OR a degree in Mathematics, Computer science, IT or Physic with Masters in Technology, Economics and Management would be an added advantage

§ Professional knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Java, ITIL, Linux and Citrix would also be an added advantage.

§ Have good knowledge of web design and content management systems (such as Joomla!, Umbraco, etc)

§ Have at least 0-2 year experience in any of these (or related) fields and must be below 30 years of age.

§ The candidate should have good knowledge of managing IT Architecture, Project Management, E-Business Technology and Innovation.

§ The candidate must be innovative, creative, ambitious and intelligent; showing a high level of integrity with a blend of professionalism.

 

§ The candidate must possess excellent analytical and numerical skills; demonstrating a willingness to learn new skills and a commitment to being trained.

§ Must have completed (or about to complete) the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) Scheme.
