i think ever since i acquired the property,price of land has always been going higher.

although i still have a sure link of travelling especially to canada for fsw or the new stuff that they started but it aint gonna cost me less dan 800k-1million.naira.

since i have started erecting a building,i think facing it squarely may pay me off more than focusing on canada.?

You made the right decision, real estate cannot be compared to travelling out of the shores of Nigeria, whether Canada, US or Europe, things are not easy now like before, whatever qualifications you have now in Naija, you must upgrade as soon as you arrive the west, we have some professionals abroad doing menial jobs, not because they like it but the environment, cost of going back to school etc.

Moreover, experience and hands on will also be a factor in securing a good job abroad,my advise to peeps is if you have a good job in Nigeria, stick to it , develop yourself, invest in real estate if you can.......but if you must travel, weigh the pros and cons before you make any move....

Once you complete your house, you are now a landlord for life....

No worries, don't keep it like that for too long, when l had my first building, l was doing it gradually , completed it and went to start another one, so try and put every kobo you get into it, before you know it, you will start roofing it......

the remaining part of my land can still contain 3 bedroom flat with at least 2car parking space,altogether with space for bore hole and soakaway!!!

Oh, that's nice. By the time God provide more you can easily build nice 3 bedrooms right there. It's a plot right?. You definitely need that bore hole. You dont want to have your children go to other places for water. Or you may even choose to leave it wide open with nice decor. I love living LARGE!
