Sahara Reporters is looking for citizen journalists based in Ekiti, Ondo, Delta, Bayelsa, Abia, Akwa Ibom, Cross River, Ebonyi, Taraba, Anambra, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, Zafara, Jigawa, Sokoto, Kebbi, and all other Nigerian states for the February elections. We are seeking journalists to report news from polling stations, especially regarding voter turnout, length of lines, heavy military or police presence, or suspected corruption. Sahara Reporters also seeks photojournalists to cover various polling stations across the country. To qualify, please email Sahara Reporters at editor@saharareporters.com by Friday, Jan. 30, with the subject "CITIZEN JOURNALIST" and provide: (1) your resume/ CV, (2) your cell number or BBM pin, and (3) a scanned copy or photograph of your voting card. All citizen journalists will be anonymous, and their personal information will be maintained with the utmost discretion and integrity.
