The program is aimed to create 1,000,000 jobs and contribute $10 billion in annual revenues to Africa’s economy over the next 10 years. Interested entrepreneurs will be able to submit their applications to join the programme from 1st January 2015 to 1st March 2015.


2. MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program

The MasterCard Foundation offers $500 million education initiative that will provide 15,000 students from Africa with comprehensive support for secondary and university education for 10 year period. 6 USA, 3 Canadian, 7 African Universities and 3 universities from other regions are partners in the Program. You need to prepare apply to any of the participating universities to be considered.

3. YouWIN Business Plan Competition (for Nigerians only)

YouWiN – Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria is an innovative business plan competition aimed at job creation by encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurial youths in Nigeria to develop and execute business ideas. YouWiN! 4 is the fourth edition and will feature men and women entrepreneurs in Nigeria between the ages of 18 to 45. Submission will close on 30 January 2015.
